Bay area hotel?

will be in Bay area for weekend was wondering if anyone knew of a decent cheap hotel in the northern san fran bay area.
On or close to beach would be nice

   There are a bunch of hotels( motel style) in Lombard street, walking distance to beach for $59,

   Try the Travelogde north SF airport. . . i stayed there for just $54 using a coupon; and the hotel was really good, clean and the stuff was kind. .

   During my last trip I came across a website called http://www. cheaphotel-s. com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.
