Cheap hotels in New England for August 2009?

We are two 19 year olds looking for a 3 night stay in either Cape Cod, MA (we prefer Hyannis) or Misquamicut, Rhode Island. We are looking for a place that is cheap (like $80-$100) but not too sketchy, worn down, or creepy. We’d like AC and a private bath. If you know of any other place in New England worth staying at, let us know and we ‘ll look into it. Thank you!

  1. Mr. New England says:

that rate might be tough to come by in august–thats peak tourist season, in order to get that rate on cape cod you need to come in may or early -to mid june, after that its full price tourist season. . . i like provincetown on cape cod myself, also look into coastal maine (bar harbor, portland, southern maine are all nice)

I have found some deals for less than $60 that match your exact criteria. But if you are looking to spend $80-$100, I would definitely recommend something in your range than something for $60.

I would recommend going in late August, since that is when the peak season has ended.

    Good luck.
