My mom and me wanna go out there next year and it’ll be 1st time. She’ll be 56 next year (but a very daring person -swear to god nothing can keep her sitting around, plus she’s in great shape) and I’ll be 18. Well, we wanted to do something fun that had to do with nature and things like that, besides sitting on the beach.
Also, if you have any experience with some great hotels (under $200 a night), that would be amazing. We recently took a trip to California and planned it pretty badly, plus it ate up all our money to the point where we were hanging by the threads. If there’s anything you feel we should know, please let us know
) Thanks in advance.

Try a community tourism set up where you stay at someone’s home, kind of like a bed and breakfast, way cheaper. There is a ek up our highest mountain (blue mountain the one famous for coffee) very fun and you over night up there. You can trek through green grotto caves, you are under the earth for a few minutes and then come out on the other side there is a formation of block under a natural window. In my part of the country there is a natural waterfall not as steep as dunns river, very exclusive and so heavenly, lots of fruit trees and then a small pond below the falls before it flows back into the river. Go to the market and try the in season fruits fresh.
There is the also the usual tourist stops, zip lining, water slide park, swim with dolphins at dolphins cove, dunns river falls. Drive the south cost if you can, rent a car or get a driver, nice 4-5 hr trip lots of stops along the way for food, pass through scenic holland bamboo. . .
have fun and feel free to look me up when you come
Hotels: Iberostar is one of the cheapest I have seen and it is very pretty, the high end is 300 a night and the cheapest is close to 125 a night

I recommend staying at Breezes Resorts which is all inclusive that incudes your meals, actiiivities, accommodations and tranfers from the airport in your price range. You can explore the island with their excursions with tons to do. Check their link below.
There a great many places to visit and things to do in Jamaica but I probably wouldn’t recommend staying in MoBay if you want to get out and have a good time. Ocho Rios is the place to be. Dunns River, the zipline, green groto, Mystic Mountain, etc. . that’s ALL in or around Ochi. Check tripadvisor. com for places to stay in Ocho Rios or Runaway Bay. ONE LOVE
