Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa. . . It’s the best hotel with excellent views of the bay. Nice rooms, great service, luxurious place to stay at. It’s pretty close to the Monterey Bay Aquariam if you are interested in that. Its worth the stay. For more info and other great hotels in the Bay Area, check out:

Seascape Resort in Aptos is nice. Beautiful views of MB and totally away from anything touristy.
Hotel Pacific ( http://www. resideo. com/42746256. hotel ) & Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa ( http://www. resideo. com/54950174. hotel ) are the highest-rated hotels in the area.
But, you might just want to head to http://www. resideo. com/us/california/monterey/ and click the “Check Availability” button. Choose your dates, submit the form & view the rooms/rates. You can check out info & photos of each available hotel, ask questions and book right online.
Have fun!
I’ll second Erik’s answer – the Monterey Plaza is the BEST. In addition to a great location, there’s a spa on the top floor with an outdoor jacuzzi tub and fireplace for sitting outside looking down on Monterey Bay. . . . .
I always stay here, it’s on Cannery Row, walking distance to everything there. They also have feather beds, and serve continental breakfast. There is even roof top access with tables and chairs etc.
