there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online. . . otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
End of year is usually a peak season in Mauritius with rather expensive services.
The Grand Bay area is one of the most touristic area of Mauritius. You have quite a lot of hotels there, located between Balaclava and Cap Malheureux. All of them within about 10 miles.
So your choice depends on your own preferences and budget. If you like a crowded and lively place, opt for Grand bay city. If you like a more quiet place, choose Mont-Choisy, Trou aux Biches, Balaclava, or another nearby place. In Pereybere, near Grand Bay, there are hotels and much more vacation rentals.
If you are looking for a high category resort, Royal Palm in Grand Bay may be your choice. Otherwise, you find hotels of various category, ranging from Grand Bay resort (2 star) to Mauricia (4 star), in Grand Bay. Veranda Hotels are located in Grand Bay and Trou aux biches.
In this area, there are also several so-called “small and medium hotels” (let’s say guest houses) which are significantly cheaper, incl. Bella Vista or Topaz in Grand Bay and Le filao in Pereybere.

HI there are lots of hotels in the G Bay area. of course the best is the
ROYAL PALM HOTEL which has five star ranking but might be expensive. however if you want more info u can try to find many offers online .

Hello, I live in G-Bay and I would advise you the Royal Palm Hotel, but it is very expensive as it is a 5-stars rated one. Former France President Jacques Chiraque stayed there.
But I have a very nice bungalow in Grand-Bay itself and you might be interested as we have vans to take you on tours around Mauritius to visit very beautiful places. You may check this video on youtube if you wish:
