How big is the theater for Lion King at Mandalay Bay hotel?

I am debating which tickets to buy for my family of 4. (I have a 4 and 7 year old) If I get the cheapest tickets will we be able to see the stage? I have found the middle back section Row P (so it’s almost the last row) for $50/seat. I found the same section Row K for $62/seat. Then I found the front section for $82/seat.

Is it worth it to pay the extra $128 (for all of us) to sit up close?

Which section is the best? Any one know of better deals for tickets? Please only comment if you have been in the Mandalay Bay hotel theater. Thanks!

No matter what major show you see in Vegas, you will always have a good seat. The theaters are “purpose built” unlike old former vaudeville theaters in other cities. The productions are on a very large scale so sitting too close is often detrimental. You end up craning your neck trying to take it all in. Either row P or row K in the center section will be great.

It seats a few thousand and the best seats are going to be middle orchestra. That will give you a full view of the entire stage. If you sit too close, you’ll have to keep turning your head to catch the action on the sides.

If you want to be sure of getting the seats you want, book through the hotel. If you’re staying at Mandalay Bay, you can get a package deal on your room and show tickets (see the website below). Otherwise, you can go to Tix4Tonight online or at the kiosk outside of Fashion Show mall.

Your better getting the $82 dollar tickets as we did when i took my family. . Due to being able to see the entire stage and its about the size of a movie theater. . Even the $60 seats were good. . I was there a couple of months ago. . It was really cool, before you go inside they have a drink/candy stand like the movies with wine etc, about a good 1hr and half show. . The more expensive seats you are down by the band and you are level view with the stage but when the animals first come out your always looking up so i was happy with my seats. .
