The Top Waterfront Hotels and Oceanfront Resort Locations

I have a wedding I have to go to in Hunington Beach, CA. After the wedding, I plan on taking my son to?

Disneyland!!!! We are very excited, but I really would love to find a hotel that is in between both locations!!! I want to be close to the wedding, which is at Hilton Waterfront Hotel, but close enough to Disneyland too!!!! Does anyone know that area well, know a hotel that isnt more than 120 a night & is nice? Thanks!!!

Do you belong to AAA? They can give you information on all the little hotels nearby and even make your reservation. Plus, they’ll give you maps and detailed driving instructions. . . .

You are the coolest mom! You’ll both love Disneyland :)

Naw– just stay right there by the pier, it should be cheaper a few blocks “inland”. . . . . . There is nothing of note between there and Disney that your son would be much interested in. . . . and on weekends they have a lot of pier activities/bands etc. . .

Why not stay by Disneyland? I know you want to stay close to the wedding, but Disneyland isn’t THAT far. Just shoot down I-5 to the 55 south, then take Newport Blvd to PCH north.

I always recommend the Candy Cane Inn and Howard Johnson. Depending on season, those should be in your price range, and both are very nice. You can walk to Disneyland, and see the fireworks from your hotel. The HoJo has the advantage of a newly added themed pool, the only one that’s not on resort property.

    Have fun!
