If i’m seventeen can i stay at a hotel with someone who is 18 if they make reservations?

Me and my friend want to spend a couple nights at cape cod this summer she’ll be 18 but i’ll only be 17 would i be able to stay with her?

    yes. You could stay on your own if you paid cash. so you can defiantly stay with an 18 year old. ( make sure it’s a booking for two people. . . . you can’t stay there if it’s just booked for her, that’s illegal. )

    Edit:
    I’ve worked in a hotel for 5 years, in almost every capacity possible at one point or another. neither myself nor anyone else i know would ever ask someone booking into a hotel room for ID, nor are we encouraged to do so by management.

    Having worked in a hotel, honestly nobody is going to ask. It should be fine.

    most hotels/motels require a credit card both for res and for payment as you can incur charges during your stay. since you must be 18 to enter into a legal contract (credit), you must be 18 and have a card. if your friend doesn’t have a card, good luck, i don’t think so.

    nope. . you need to be 21 to rent a hotel room (it doesn’t matter if you have the credit cards, they need your ID. )
