Is Mandalay Bay a good place to stay?

My buddy and I are planning a trip to Vegas (late April 2008) and are looking for a good place to stay. Both of us are 25 so we are looking for that type of crowd. We are strongly considering Mandalay Bay. Is this place worth it? Are all renovations complete? Any other suggestions as to other hotels we should consider?

   Mandalay Bay is a nice, expensive place and has a night club but then most Strip properties do including Luxor, Palazzo (new 4040), Wynn, etc. You may want to think about Palms, more in your age group.

   Remember you don’t have to stay at a property to visit and enjoy the night life, food, entertainment, or gambling.

   Its a great place but its not in the middle of it all. Its really nice though.

   Mandalay Bay is a great place to stay. A 4 diamond AAA rating. You and your buddy will love it.
