Nice hotel/motel in bay area? peninsula?

Hi my Fiancee is coming to the Bay Area after a long time, and it’s his birthday. I want to treat him to something special. I want to know of a nice hotel or motel in the bay area or peninsula. With a nice room and view. I would prefer Foster city, Fremont, More south bay is better. Also, if there are any nice small individual boat rentals. let me know the places.    Costanoa is one of the most beautiful places by b/f ever took me. . it’s on the coast a little past half moon bay.
