Walk The Esplanade, Quays and Around Marina Bay, Singapore


www.TravelsWithSheila.com So much to see and so little time. No matter how many visits we’ve made to Singapore, the constant changes blow our respective minds. Driving in from Changi Airport in the wee hours of the morning, we plied the cab driver with questions over the new structures lit up in the Singapore skyline. “What it that? When was the gigantic ferris wheel built?” Walk the vibrant Esplanade with historical buildings on one side of the Singapore River and a gazillion restaurants along the quay stretch. Drop dead views of the new Marina Bay Sands complex (yes…the same Las Vegas Sands consortium) that resembles an ocean liner in the sky. Fabulous bronze statues and artwork line the river. There’s more to do in Singapore than meets the eye… A fantastically clean and wonderul city…
