   We have been to Cape May several times now. We stayed at a private apartment rental in town. Last year we stayed at La Mer which is ocean front. It was a VERY nice hotel for the price. This year, we have rented a small private cottage out on Sunset Beach. So we have stayed at a variety of places and truthfully, they have all cost pretty close to each other – around $500-600 for three nights. There are probably cheaper – but just as nice – hotels which are not ocean front.
