What is there to do in cape cod?

Im planning on going to cape cod soon, but im told there inst anything fun to do there. This makes me not so happy to go there. Is there anything to do in cape cod around this time of spring? I enjoy amusement parks and shopping. Anything BUT the beaches? I dont love the beach so much anymore because they got boring. Any awesome places you’ve been to there? Hotels and camp grounds would be great to if anyone know’s any site’s for them, i would either like to have a room in a hotel or a cabin of some sort [not a log cabin thou, something on a camp ground maybe]. site for those 2? Thanks in advance! :D

I am unaware of any amusement parks on the Cape
There is shopping in Hyannis and Provincetown. You can also explore the dunes in Provincetown. And visit Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Falmouth.

Sadly, the thing to do on the Cape is go to the beach, The Cape has some of the best beaches in the world. Bummer for you because you don’t enjoy them.

    Not much else. Sorry

EDIT: There is a campground at Nickerson State Park in Brewster.

    Hi,

Do you enjoy bike riding? Cape Cod has over 60 miles of safe bike trails.

    Other non-beachy things:

    Whale Watching
    Seal Watching
Shopping in Chatham (a great walk around town)
    Baseball Games (free)
    Mini Golf (lots of places)
    Dune Tours
    Bumper Boats and Go Karts
Lots of Gift Shops to Stroll Around In

The Nickerson State Park is a nice, big campground. When you are there, the feeling is more “the middle of the woods” as opposed to a beach environment. Yet, it is close to everything (including the bike trail that runs right through it).

When you get to the Cape, you’ll find all sorts of activity guides (in grocery stores, CVS, etc. ). Browse through these books – you are sure to find something to do. You won’t be disappointed. The Cape is a great place.

    Have a great trip!

Was at the Cape two weeks ago. It’s too early in the year to go to the beach – too cold (both the water and the wind).

Day 1: Provincetown – walked down Commercial Street. Many shops are still closed, but a few have opened for the Spring. Found a great place for lunch (Bayside Betsy’s). Walked out on MacMillan Wharf. Lots of photography. Stopped at the Marconi Site in Wellfleet on the way back.

Day 2: Easter Sunday – a quiet day. Drove down to Yarmouth, photographed the boat house. Lunch at Scargo Grill. Stopped at Brewster Grist Mill on the way back – too early for herring.

Day 3: Dennis – cooking program at Cape Cod Art Museum. Strolled through the gallery.

Day 4: Chatham – shopping in the town center. Lunch at Chatham Squire. Photographed the Chatham wind mill. Drove as far west as Harwich, but there were are lot of construction detours on Rt. 28.

Day 5: Sandwich – Greenbriar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen, lunch at Daniel Webster Inn, stopped in Hyannis for the tour at the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory.

Day 6: Wellfleet – hiking at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, shopping in Orleans, lunch at Land Ho
