The Top Waterfront Hotels and Oceanfront Resort Locations

What things are there to do or places to stop over at on the way to Cape Town from Pretoria ?

Are there any hotels or places to sleep over at that you can suggest and are there any “tourist” attractions that you could suggest
Been there before…LOVE IT,but this is the first time that I’m driving there
I personally hate KZN and EC though so CPT it is

Several great hotels and restaurant. . . . . . walk in and check them out before you register. Once you register you are stuck! There are many places to choose from. Have a great time.

Kimberley is a good place to to stop over if you driving down to Cape Town from Pretorias because it’s close to half way. This is an interesting town famous for Diamond mining and the home of the Big Hole. There is a very good museum and it has an interesting history. I stayed in a nice guesthouse called Hadida Guest House (http://www. hadida. co. za) -which was very nice. Something to bear in mind -Kimberley can been very hot in summer (35+degrees Celsius)
    hope this helps

You’re a Pretorian and want to go to CT????????!!!!!!!!
    Ai, ja, jai, ja, jai.

Edit: O ok, I see. I don’t mean to be rude, but personally I hate the place. I’ve been there twice and hated it.
I prefer EC or KZN coastline.

You must stop in Matjiesfontein. (I think it might be too close to CT to sleep over at though, just check on a map. )

Well between Pretoria and Cap Town I’d suggest stopping in either Bloemfontein or Kimberly. Both towns will have several good hotels for you to stay in.

Just outside Graaf- Reinet is the Valley of desolation, the Tsitsikamma park near Knysna is also worth while visiting , Swellendam is a picturesque town with lovely old houses, Outsthoorn with the ostrich farm amd Kango caves is quite something, Paarl and the lovely wine farms in and around Stellenbosch is awesome . . there is so many scenic places but the gem is Cape Town and Table Mountain . . hope you enjoy it
