What’s the best hotel to stay at near Montego Bay?

   The Ritz Carlton in Rose Hall is absolutely beautiful. Great accommodations. Excellent staff. They will nickel and dime you but if you can handle that, it’s worth your while.

   It depends on how much money you are willing to spend. If money is tight,then you should go to Toby’s Resort in Montego Bay. It is only one mile from the airport. If money is no object,then I heard Sandals is nice!Have fun! I am going in October of 08.

   I forgot the name of it, but it’s the one on (not across the street from) Doctor’s Cave Beach. That’s pretty much where you’ll want to spend all your time anyway. If you get the all inclusive, they’ll serve buffet meals right on the beach. So convenient. And they’re walking distance from everything, including Margaritaville (sp?).

   Best is Relative to budget.

   Best with unlimited budget$ – Ritz Carlton
   2nd Place – Half moon Beach Club (its preferred by past presidents and stars of all different kinds – From 50cent to Jenna Bush). All the things you expect, plus the villas are easier to secure (from the US Secret Service’s perspective).

   Best All-inclusive value & economy – SANDALS. There are three in mobay offering different experiences (one close to nightclubs for example).

   Best budget hotel (non A. I. ) – There are MANY. I have had good experiences at El Greco and The Wexford Court Hotel. There are several other decent hotels on the hip strip.

   Definitely the Ritz Carlton Golf and Spa Resort. It has 427 rooms, presidential suite, best ocean view, awesome spa treatments, friendly and courteous staff, five diamond property and five restaurants and a pool. One restaurant by the pool.
