Whats the best hotels to stay in vegas for new years?

I hear that the best three are:
1. Mandlay bay (for indoor beach)
2. Flamingo
3. Palms

It really depends on what type of activity you want to do. If you want the hip, young, party crowd the Palms is for you. If you want to see the fireworks etc, stay along Las Vegas Boulevard.

Mandalay Bay/the Hotel has a nice swimming area like what you mentioned, but is this the sole reason why you’re spending New Year’s in Las Vegas?

Wynn, Palazzo, the Venetian, Four Seasons, and MGM Mansions (if you’re into spending 5K a night) are all good. I’d go with the Wynn though.

As long as your in vegas is what matters but anywhere on the strip is good!! I stayed at the imperial palace 2006 new years and had a blast. It doesnt have to be a top resort, as long as your on the strip is what matters. . I got my room for $60 new years day because i booked it like 6 months before so in july if i were you i would look then. If your picking from the 3 you listed

1)Palms = Hot drunk women from 21-35 in this place
2)Mandalay Bay = More classic type sexy women here.
3)Flamingo = Location is solid on the strip but the crowd is mostly older people but still pretty fun.
