Okay, first, there are no captive dolphins to feed. There used to be a dolphin show at the Zooquarium, but believe that show no longer exists. There are dolphin and whale watch boats that leave from Barnstable and Provincetown harbors, but feeding of wild mammals from such boats is illegal. Boats to Martha’s Vineyard leave from Hyannis and Wood’s Hole (site of the Oceanographic Institute and a small, free to visit aquarium). Cape Cod is about 75 miles long, and there are bargain priced hotels along the length of the Cape. Look around online and see if there is anything in particular you’d like to do and check hotels in that area.

Bluepotato must’ve forgot to tell you that there is a fare charged for a trip to Martha’s Vineyard.

= Ive been staying in Cape Cod for over thirty years, and I do think its a very reasonable place to visit.

The bike path starts around Dennis, so that would be as good a place as any to stay. I dont know about you, but i like all the goodies when I travel, pool, jacuzzi etc. Im going to suggest All Seasons resort, which is between Yarmouth and Dennisport. If you are going soon, I would expect the room to be under $100. with all the goodies I mentioned being there.

Another one to check is Edgewater Beach Resort in Dennisport. Ask about their studios. They have nice clean studios with a pull down bed and a whirlpool out on the back deck. The studios is kind of a secret, theres only a few and they are also about $100. That resort is right on the beach, and a really nice one at that.

If you are looking for cheaper than that, there are still choices. Older motels like The Americana Holiday in Hyannis.

All of these have restraunts close by. For dinner, try to get in early. They have early bird specials that are great deals. Have fun.
