Where’s a good hotel bordering San Francisco or the east bay that’s affordable but not shabby?

I’ve stayed in places like Santa Rosa but I’d like to visit other cities with the same cost range(about 100 bucks).
I need to clarify that it would be great to find a hotel outside of san francisco or the east bay(like santa rosa).

   The Seal Rock Inn in San francisco, there are a few others near the Zoo. Pacifica.

   The Radisson near Pier 39 is nice and is in walking distance to the alcatraz boat, the seaport, and in driving distance(5min) to lombard st. , the golden gate bridge, and at&t park.
